iW-RainboW-G40M: The i.MX 8M Plus OSM System on Module supports two image signal processors (ISP’s) and a dedicated neural network processor at up to 2.3 TOPS making it an ideal fit in Smart Home, Smart City, Industrial IoT and beyond with its Machine learning, vision, and advanced multimedia capability. With the provision for industrial interfaces such as CAN-FD, time-sensitive networking, high-speed interfaces such as PCIe 3.0, Gigabit Ethernet, USB 3.0, and camera and display interfaces like MIPI CSI, MIPI DSI, HDMI, the i.MX 8M Plus SoM finds a fit in Industry 4.0 and automation systems supporting intelligent and fast processing of multi-media data.

The i.MX 8M Plus System on Module is integrated on a carrier board, which is positioned as a Single Board Computer and also used as an evaluation kit. The production-ready Single Board Computer is built on a Pico-ITX form factor and integrates the necessary interfaces for applications such as smart home hubs, metering gateways and industrial automation solutions.
