sFPDP IP Cores

Serial Front Panel Data Port (sFPDP) is an industry-standard high-speed serial communication protocol widely used for real-time applications such as defense, research, and medical imaging. iWave’s sFPDP IP core is based on ANSI/VITA 17.1-2015 standard offering point-to-point, low latency, low-overhead, and high-speed communication.

iWave’s sFPDP IP supports various system configurations like uni-directional or bi-directional links, copy mode, copy/loop Mode, and optional flow control along with the support of different types of data and offering full flexibility to the user with data framing options. iWave’s sFPDP IP is validated on multiple FPGAs supporting the transceiver interface from Xilinx, Intel, and Microsemi.
